Angela Shelton is a filmmaker, writer, actress, producer, editor,
business woman, homemaker, wife and companion to an awesome dog named Norma.
When asked if she is an activist who makes films or a filmmaker who is
an activist she says she is neither. She is an artist who is pointing her
creativity and vulnerability at the subject of violence against women and
children at the moment. In everything she does, Angela aims to bring awareness
to issues otherwise not talked about. She is also a superhero called Safe
Side Super Chick who teaches children how to be safe and avoid being abused
and/or abducted.
Angela is currently traveling the country while she writes another
project and films another movie. She is speaking out about the old topic of child abuse and violence against women in a brand new way.
Her focus is to inspire survivors to heal and stop the chain in their lives
and she gives them the tools on how to do it. She brings a message of hope,
inspiration and a new way to look at turning a life of a victim into a
survivor and not only surviving but living a profoundly enriched life.
She draws big audiences and stays for hugs.
