We ARE asking you to help create a miracle in the lives of animals, and a man and men and women ...

Dear Friends,
This past weekend, Keith and I had the privilege of spending time with a true hero.
As you know, we try to raise money for our friends Wildlife Rescue Center in Florida and do some volunteer work there.
But we met a man who has taken on as his personal mission to rescue the pets left behind when people evacuated for Hurricane Katrina.
This man is a Native American named Chipa Wolfe. On his own funds, he has traveled back and forth to the south, trudged through swamps,
kicked down doors to free trapped pets. [Editor note : this letter has been edited for clarity of reading and gentleness of vision.]
Chipa brings kiddy pools of fresh water and food
for the animals as he frees them.
When the authorities are wearing haz-mat suits because of toxic spills, Chipa goes in anyhow, and saves the
four-legged victims of the Hurricane. We have known this man for several years and can tell you that he has personally saved our lives.
By inviting us to great Native American events, we were able to drop from 28 shows a year (a grueling schedule for folks our age) to
about 11 shows, 3 of which are Chipa Wolfe events. Let me tell you another story about this humble man: he rescued a bear and raised it.
One day the bear, being a bear, attacked Chipa. As he bled out, Chipa only said, 'Don't shoot my bear.' The man lives as we do - he
takes only what he needs from life. He has stopped Native American grave desecration. We are proud to know him. This is a plea for help.
Keith and I were moved to gift our largest drum to Chipa to help him raise money to save these animals. There is no government for the
4-legged creatures, no FEMA. We just got our dog out of the hospital - he was hit by a car. He had to have his tail amputated. He has a
safe, clean home. All of you who have pets, imagine if you had to leave them behind to save your own life. And then could not get back to
save them. They're alone, domesticated animals now. They can't survive in the wild. Chipa Wolfe is rescuing them and finding homes for them.
He does this all out of his own pocket and would never ask for help. He didn't tell us this. His Native American brothers found out and honored
him with a blanket dance. In the Native American culture, they do a dance to honor someone of great esteem by carrying around a blanket and
people throw money in. I am passing a cyber blanket to all of my friends for this man who is a hero to me. We all talk, but this guy DOES.
At this moment, he is in the swamps again, kicking down doors, carrying injured animals, talking to them, comforting them, feeding them,
then he must find them new homes.
[Editor note : this call is placed on our site in what an American Attention Span might call, late.
This call is placed on a date beyond the Hurricanes for the work of such a one is never truly done. And we at Good Works On Earth
know well what it is to continue to do the work without asking for help and just doing it. When we receive an angelope, it is a miracle.
We at Good Works On Earth ask you to roll some golden green energy thunder this man's way ... and pass the words about ..
There is An American Thunder Blanket Dance going on in the nowments ... and this man did not ask us to do this.

If you need a tax receipt, Chipa's organization is Rolling Thunder Enterprises, www.rthunder.com .
It is named after his buffalo Thunder, who taught me how to paint buffalo.
Thank you all for your support. I love you and keep you in my prayers.

Another note from Good Works On Earth :
At first, Chipa Wolfe did not know we posted this ... [and now he does, and while he is a one who does the work, he blows his own horn not.]
This is a gift of our work inviting your help from out of the blue to a one who helps Mother Earth's animals. Surprise him with empowerment.
At his end, when he opens your letter, your card or your envelope with your donation to his work, it will be a miracle from the heavens, you see.
That makes you a miracle claimer in the life of another.
And the wheel goes round, round, round ... and it does, with exacting certitude, not one soul lost, eternally ongoing.
We have passed on a wee bit of our abundance to his work with the four leggeds, and a Star Arts Greetings Card for his knowings.
